Earth day is April 22, 2010. This year is the 40th anniversary of this holiday, with many activities taking place the weekend before and the weekend after. Never too early to go green! Be sure to get your students involved!

Earth Day TV
Videos range from 2 minutes to one hour in length and are free to view. On the “In the Classroom” page there is a 2 minute video for primary students told by “Polly Bear” explaining what Earth Day is. There is also a documentary on how playgrounds and natural habitats are changing around the world and another about a school in Denver that went green.
